THE INTENT AND PHILOSOPHY
The Art of Dowsing can best be described as an ancient, holistic, integrated system of natural science and philosophy that keeps all human activity in harmony with the patterns of nature. The work is a process of reading the earth's body language or the earth's natural landscape through the gateways and subtle energies of sight, sound and vibration. Dowsing weaves together the scientific and spiritual traditions bringing all aspects into a working harmony. This interaction of subtle energies between the environment and the dowser can be seen as "vibrational therapy" for the earth organism in which we live. Working in harmony with these energies creates beneficial changes; restoring, healing and demonstrating the inherent sacredness of our planet.
DOWSING: HOW IT WORKS
No one really knows how dowsing works in terms that the scientific community can accept. "Tests" of dowsing such as the 'double blind' or others whose only purpose is to test the validity of dowsing usually turn out poorly, leading to it being scoffed at and unrecognized as a legitimate practice. But there is an overwhelming mass of testimonial evidence of instances where dowsing accomplished many feats defying scientific explanation: Good wells located next to dry ones, crashed planes found by map dowsing, health improvement when noxious rays are blocked in a home or business etc.
SAMPLE TESTIMONIALS
"If I am going to drill a well in an area that I know has a poor water supply or the customer needs a large quantity of water, I give Elaine Ralston a call. She is the only professional dowser I have ever used and I've never had reason to look for another." - Artesian Wells By James. T. Eckerson
"Elaine Ralston was hired by S & A Chaissan & Sons to help us determine where to drill a well. When the well was completed, we actually were getting more than she expected at the same depth. We are very pleased and would highly recommend her services." - Dennis Chaissan, Fruit grower & packer
"Our builder, George Sifre (Seakill Builders, New Paltz) recommended Elaine Ralston's dowsing expertise to assist in siting a well. George has had other clients who have obtained good water sources with Elaine. We felt we needed all the help we could get. However, we were quite skeptical of the whole concept of dowsing for water. Elaine dowsed our property to site a well and although she was subjected to some difficult restrictions (small site and near the Wallkill River which is an area known to have a high concentration of sulphur), she successfully located a good water supply. In addition to finding a water source free of sulphur, she estimated the depth and flow of the well: Estimated: 263-275 feet and 4-11 gal/min. Actual: 275 feet and 7 gal/min. Elaine, thank you again four your assistance. You made us believers. We would recommend your services to anyone." - Dave & Barbara Sides
"Several weeks ago our well seemed to have run dry. We shut off the water. We didn't use any water for several days. The well appeared to be filling up again. One week later the identical problem returned. We called Ms. Elaine Ralston, a professional dowser who came that very same day. She brought in two nearby veins and moved the original vein slightly. Now a week later we have water and the water seems to be of better quality. We have had no rainfall for the last month. We want to thank Ms. Elaine Ralston for doing a fine job and for helping us in a time of need." - Zita Keller
"Thanks for coming to Livingston NY at the Entenmann/Freihofers Apple Processing Plant to dowse a new well for us. The new well when it was drilled produced approx. 25 gal/min at first, at your recommendation we had Jim Eckerson dry ice it, now we have measured 35 gal/min at 303 feet as you predicted. I asked you to try to improve the flow in wells #2 and #3 and you did that by diverting nearby water veins into them. So with your help we more than doubled our capacity, we should be in fine shape for years to come. Once again thank you for this fine dowsing job." - Walter Backer, Facilities Manager
"Not only the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference, but all the summer hikers on the Appalachian Trail are grateful to you for identifying the sources of water where a pitcher pump could be installed near the Trail in Orange County New York." - Elizabeth D. Levers, Appalachian Trail Corridor Manager
